Both lifelong photographers, the two met in 2014 and immediately joined forces, pursuing their mutual passion of photography.
Since then, they have photographed weddings together around the world & have run multiple photography-related brands, the newest of which is a brick & mortar studio & art gallery located on Magazine Street, in New Orleans, LA.
Hunter & Desiree RYLAND
CAZADOR Art Gallery is a collaborative gesture between husband & wife team, Hunter & Desiree Ryland, of New Orleans, Louisiana. After almost 9 years working exclusively together in various photographic genres, the artwork was born. It encompasses a mixture of Hunter's photographic excellence with Desiree's artistic blind contour touch. All works are either photographed using Leica, SX-70 Polaroid, or Fujifilm Instax Wide.

In 2016, Hunter & Desiree saw the opportunity to capture more than just the bride, groom, & their families. They wanted to give the guests at the reception the same attention to detail that their clients received on the wedding day.
Hunter & Desiree formed HD Photobooth Co. (H for Hunter, D for Desiree). Since then, Hunter has done hundreds of events, photographed thousands of people & has created a brand that is synonymous with quality & intention. HD Photobooth Co. is known throughout Lousiana for its timeless black & white portraits & Hunter still loves running the booth to this day.

After operating under independent brands while dating, Hunter proposed to Desiree, thus forming their new brand, We Are The Rylands. Little did Hunter know, Desiree had already secretly purchased the domain name a few weeks after they photographed their first wedding together in early 2015. The two work exclusively as a husband & wife team to capture wedding days with energy & fun, while carefully creating family heirlooms along the way. The Rylands were married on November 1, 2017 in Natchez, Mississippi.
